Are you familiar with horses? Did you know horses have been around for 55 million years? If you want to find out more keep reading. I used to not love horses. But then I found out some facts about horses. I started to think that I should give horses a chance. If you do not like horses I hope you change your mind.

Introduction…………………………….pg. 1 About a horse…………………………..pg. 3 Grooming……………………………….pg.4 Horse foods……………………………..pg.5 Glossary… pg.6

A horse is a calm animal but can be dangerous to. There are two different ways a horse can be trained English and western. There are many different horse breeds and colors too. Some breeds are the appaloosa the Shetland pony and the mustang there are many more. Some colors are chestnut also palomino and lots more! Horses are taller than ponies can not get as big as horses.

Grooming is what cleans the horse you first use a curry come witch loosens up the dirt. Do not use the curry come on there legs. you can use it under there belly. Then you use a hard brush to get the dirt off then. You use a soft brush the same way. Last you use a hoof pick to take the dirt out of there hoof.

Horses can not have sorting foods But there are a lot of foods they can have. Some foods they can have are Grass carrots hay Apples and grain. There are lots more! Don’t give a horse more than 2 fruits a day. Horses do not puke but they do spit and it can trick you.

One thing I know for sure is that horses are very smart and fun animals. You might want to go see a horse if you love learning about it.
