Presentation transcript:

Background information Light is known to be an essential part on photosynthesis. Different forms of light (natural/ artificial)achieve the same result when it comes to plant growth.

Purpose The purpose of this experiment is to see whether natural light is better for plants than artificial light.

Hypothesis Plants do not need only natural light to germinate well.

Procedure germinate 3 separate sets of sunflower seeds. put set 1 in a greenhouse, set 2 in a dark room and set 3 in a room with artificial light. observe and record observations.

IMAGES OF PLANTS AFTER 3 DAYS Set 1, Greenhouse

Set 2, dark room.

Set 3, artificial light

Conclusion The experiment help us conclude that plants do not need only natural light to germinate well. In fact, artificial light helped the plants germinate better than natural light.
