Past Educational Experience I attended public schools in grades 1 – 12. The year our school was integrated was the most memorable because I remember hiding in the bathroom due to a fight involving knives. For this reason, school safety is an important issue for me to this day.

Ashford Degree Goals I am pursuing a Master’s Degree to rediscover learning strategies and assessment trends in the field of education. I also need to improve in my use of technological tools.

Future Job I hope to open my own in-home preschool center to support families who serve in the Air Force in Warner Robins, GA. I believe this degree will reinforce what I have already learned in working with children and prepare me to provide a preschool that effectively meets the developmental needs of preschoolers and their families.
