Introduction The proposed review will examines the available training options. Proposes “E-learning” as the organization effective training solution. Identifies challenges and barriers Suggests deployment strategies. A schedule for completing the review and budget.

Statement of the problem Traditional training was accomplished using two means: Classroom-Instructor-Led Training and Video/CD-Rom-Based Training. Both delivered some success but suffered from drawbacks, like scheduling conflicts, high cost, and low productivity.

Statement of the problem Classroom-based instructor-led Training - Courses are only offered at set time. - The cost is high. - Time spent away from the job traveling or sitting in a classroom reduces employee productivity and revenue tremendously.

Statement of the problem Video/CD/-ROM-based training - You must handle lots of videos, CDs and maybe feel loneliness, and lack of interaction with others. - This training method is really not convenient or cost - effective for organization wide deployment.

Statement of the problem “ Traditional” Training Group, “class” Scheduled “Low tech” Delayed feedback Verbal/oral response Emphasized “E-Learning” Individual or group On demand or scheduled “High tech” Immediate feedback Written response required Exhibt 1: “Traditional Training versus “E-learning”

Statement of the problem A solution to the time, cost, and productivity is to use E-learning – Internet –enabled Learning (online training)

Hypothesis The more advanced technology. The more training. Compare to the traditional training, E- learning is the organization wide training solution.

Plan of Action The methodology used for this study is secondary data. Many books and articles have been written on E-learning. In addition, there are dozens of books and articles available in the library, they should provide sufficient info. for me to write my review.

Timeline and budget Obtain source Problem statement pre proposal Proposal drafting final report Proofing final report 9/59/1910/3 10/31 11/1412/2512/5 The only cost are for copying articles. I estimate that I do these tasks for under $20.
