The river Severn The river Severn is 220miles (354km) long! It’s Source is Bryn-Cras Mountain. Its mouth is the Bristol Channel.There are 6 main tributaries in the river Severn.There have been Disasters of claming lives on the River Severn,especially in the 20 th Century. Longest river in UK. The river Severn is the longest river in the United Kingdom.It’s 220miles which is 354 kilometres! Its main tributaries are: Vyrnwy (56km),Tern (48km),Worfe (26km),Stour (32km) Teme (96km)and Warwickshire Avon (145km).
