Mrs. Giadone’s Art Room: ●Original Works Art Fundraiser will be done during class and sent home in order packets by November for this school year. ●Art shows throughout the community will be upcoming in February thru April. Art skills grade: 1=Not proficient 2=Partially Proficient 3=Proficient 4=Advanced Proficient Art effort grade: N=Needs Improvement S=Satisfactory E=Excellent

Mrs. Aragon’s Music Room: Husky Chorale: Practices will be Tuesday & Thursday before school (7:25-8:05) starting mid September. Music skills grade: 1=Not proficient 2=Partially Proficient 3=Proficient 4=Advanced Proficient Music effort grade: N=Needs Improvement S=Satisfactory E=Excellent

Music Performance Schedule: 5 th Grade Musical - Thursday, November 12th 4 th Grade Musical – Thursday, January 28th 3 rd Grade Musical – Tuesday, February 9th 2 nd Grade Musical – Tuesday, December 8th 1 st Grade Musical – Thursday, March 3rd Kindergarten Programs– Thursday, April 14th Husky Chorale will perform at the following events: Winter Wonderland on Friday, December 4th AIMS night on Thursday, April 21st The D49 Choir Festival. (Date & Times TBA) *I am also planning to arrange for a Sky Sox Game, but dates will not go out for a few more months. All students are expected to participate in their grade-level musical. All students will have equal opportunity to audition for solos and speaking parts during music class if they choose to. Husky Chorale will begin September 22nd. Third - Fifth grade students will receive information packets during their regular music classes by early September if they are interested in joining.

Enrichment Achievement Award 5 Enrichment awards will be given out to an exceptional student, every quarter, per grade level. (Art, Music, Technology, iPad & P.E.) This student may be chosen for: Most improved student for an enrichment area. Putting in a great effort and hard-work! Being a wonderful “Husky” role model within the enrichment classes and around the school. The students will get their picture taken that will be put up on the “Husky Wall of Fame”!
