 25+ hours of hands on experience in the Copernicus hospital in Gdansk  Work experience within a range specialities and wards which may be chosen by individual student  Scrubs uniform & t-shirt with LiveMed logo  Stethoscope  Activities outside of work placement  Participants would stay in an exclusive hotel with FB accommodation  Students would have to pay £50 deposit to secure their place and the would be deducted from the total price  All transport abroad  24h hour mentor during the whole stay  Certificate of involvement awarded by the Copernicus Hospital  Individual reference from Copernicus Hospital The total price for the placement is only £1199.

The placement consists of at least 25 hours of hands on, intense and valuable experience. Students will be given an opportunity to job shadow healthcare professionals as well as take active part in treatment and handling of patients. The unique and advantageous aspect of the placement organised by LiveMed is that participants are able to choose which ward and speciality they will want to observe themselves. The endless list of wards includes Neurosurgery and Neurology, A&E, Paediatric, Dermatology, Internal Diseases and Geriatrics and the main surgery theatre. Every day begins with a short, traditional staff briefing alongside other doctors, which will update everyone on current patients and inform the students about the activities that will be undertaken during the placement. There will also be a summary after each day where the medics will be willing to clarify any uncertainties or queries, which have occurred. On every ward, there will be an English-speaking mentor, which will guide the participants to become familiar and comfortable with the work on specific site.
