“Holy Holy Holy” Call to Worship Stephen McNeill
Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise. Proverbs 31:28-31 (NLT)
Lord, I come to You, let my heart be changed, renewed, Flowing from the grace that I've found in You. And Lord, I've come to know the weaknesses I see in me will be stripped away by the power of Your love. “The Power of Your Love”
Hold me close, let Your love surround me; Bring me near, draw me to Your side. And as I wait, I'll rise up like the eagle, And I will soar with You Your Spirit leads me on in the power of Your love. “The Power of Your Love”
Lord, unveil my eyes, let me see You face to face, The knowledge of Your love as You live in me. Lord, renew my mind as Your will unfolds in my life in living ev'ryday in the power of Your love. “The Power of Your Love”
Hold me close, let Your love surround me; Bring me near, draw me to Your side. And as I wait, I'll rise up like the eagle, And I will soar with You Your Spirit leads me on in the power of Your love. (repeat) “The Power of Your Love”

WHAT THE LORD WANTS FROM A GODLY MOTHER Mother’s Day May 13, 2007
3 I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as my forefathers did, when I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day. 4 Remembering your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy, 5 clearly recalling your sincere faith that first lived in your grandmother Lois, then in your mother Eunice, and that I am convinced is in you also. 6 Therefore, I remind you to keep ablaze the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands.
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment. 8 So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me His prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. 10 This has now been made evident through the
appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11 For this [gospel] I was appointed a herald, apostle, and teacher, 12 and that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day. 2 Timothy 1:3-12 (HCSB)
I. THE SHARING OF HER FAITH.
I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you. 2 Timothy 1:5 (NLT)
II. PROVISION FOR HER FAMILY.
26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Proverbs 31:26-29 (NIV)
III. GIVE PRIORITY TO BEING HER CHILDREN’S GREATEST FAN.
1 On the third day a wedding took place in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and 2 Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding as well. 3 When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother told Him, “They don’t have any wine.” 4 “What has this concern of yours to do with Me, woman?” Jesus asked. “My hour has not yet come.” 5 “Do whatever He tells you,” His mother told the servants. John 2:1-5 (HCSB)
IV. LIVE A LIFE BEFORE HER CHILDREN THAT PERSISTENTLY PURSUES SERVING AND PLEASING GOD.
Take my life and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee; Take my hands and let them move At the impulse of Thy love, At the impulse of Thy love. “Take My Life, and Let It Be Consecrated ”
Take my feet and let them be Swift and beautiful for Thee; Take my voice and let me sing Always, only, for my King, Always, only, for my King. “Take My Life, and Let It Be Consecrated ”
Take my silver and my gold, Not a mite would I withhold; Take my moments and my days, Let them flow in ceaseless praise, Let them flow in ceaseless praise. “Take My Life, and Let It Be Consecrated ”
Take my will and make it Thine’ It shall be no longer mine; Take my heart, it is Thine own, It shall be Thy royal throne, It shall be Thy royal throne. “Take My Life, and Let It Be Consecrated ”
Benediction
