1. Teacher’s explanation First of all, our teacher made a Wiki to collect information from students and other teachers about the changes we could make to create a good work environment. How to create a good work environment?

Basically, the target of this “Wiki” is: -Each one of the students says something he would like to change or improve in the classroom. - Work in group with all the students to choose the better options to develop in the class.

2. Classroom before changes Our classroom was very untidy. There wasn’t any free room to walk and the students in the class felt uncomfortable most of the time. Here are some examples of that:

3. Ideas to improve the learning environment 1. Creación de una atmósfera y un entorno relajante utilizando los sentidos: 1. Creating an atmosphere and a relaxing environment using the senses Buscar algún aroma natural, ambientador Find some natural fragances, air freshener Reciclar la basura: Compromiso del profesor para llevar la basura a sus correspondientes contenedores Recycling. 3.A Rejected Ideas These are the ideas we discarded: Encuentros de tutoría en el patio Meetings in the playground: Very noisy place to go during lessons. Stores o cortinas para las ventanas. Stores or curtains for the windows: Not enough time to make curtains Frases que nos animen y resalten valores importantes Posters with motivating sentences: Classmates didnt like this idea

Sujetar el monitor y la torre a la pared Hold the computer in the walls: We didnt have time to test this Usar la mesa pequeña como apoyo a los ordenadores Use the small tables for the computers: We didnt like this idea Utilizar las mesas grandes para los trabajos en grupo y para las clases "normales“ Use the big tables for working in group and lessons: Not enough room for everyone. Poner una pequeña cafetera en la clase Get a small coffee machine for the class: There’s one in teacher’s deparment already.

4. Final Thoughts As a final conclusion we only have to say we have enjoyed with our classmates. Modifying, adding improvements… We think the changes we made, make our work better and better every day. We hope this proposal lasts a lot and next year students improve our proposal as well.
