Educatius Select Program

SELECT High School USA - Program options  Public Day Select/ School Districts  Private Day Select  Private Boarding Select

Program Outline  F-1 visa  Student can choose a school/district  Student lives with a host family or in a dormitory with supervision  Student attends school like a regular high school student  Duration - 5 or 10 months, multiple years at private day or boarding school possible  Program start – August/September or January

Requirements  Age requirement – years (14 years possible after re confirming with Educatius office)  English requirement – Intermediate (ESL available in private day and boarding schools)  Academic requirement – C average (some boarding schools might accept a lower level)  Realistic expectation and maturity  Non graduate from high school (exceptions need to be confirmed with Educatius office)

Schools  Schools with different sizes (80 – 3,500 students)  Location between small town and metropolis  School districts with different sized (1-150 high schools)  Quality check by SEVP  All regular subjects offered  Great variety of academics, sports and extracurricular activities  Individual encouragement  Expect students to perform at their best

Sports  Three seasons – Fall, Winter Spring  No guarantee – Students will have to try out  Please check with Educatius that sport is still offered and student is there at the right season!  Bear in mind the State Laws in some States concerning school sports  Great chance to try something new  Extra fees will have to be paid

Extra Fees  Sports fees, lab fees, books, school lunch  Extending fee – difference between semester and academic year plus 1,500USD extension fee  Arriving and/or departing to/from different aiport than requested 150USD each time
