teacher read alouds  On My Honor by Marion Dane Bauer: I liked On My Honor a lot. At first it was kind of boring. But as we read on I started to like it. But it really went down hill when Tony died.  The Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo: I didn’t like The Tiger Rising at all. Honestly I think it was the worst. The beginning was super boring. Also the ending was super quick. The tiger just died and that was kind of it.  The Cay By Theodore Taylor: I LOVED The Cay! It was my favorite book we read! It was so funny! Also the ending wasn’t fast. After Timothy died and it was dramatic and the ending was very good after that.  The Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell: this is my second favorite book! The book flowed with everything around it! The island, the dogs. The ending was kind of tragic if you read the authors notes.

Teacher read alouds 2  Lawn Boy By Gary Paulsen: We've finished Lawn Boy. I’ve personally read it myself. So I know what happens. The book is kind of boring just talking about economics and stuff like that. But I liked the little twist with Joey Pow.  Tuck Everlasting By Natalie Babbit: We have read the book about halfway. It is pretty interesting. The beginning was very boring. But when they kidnapped Winnie it started getting cooler and better.

A look at me as a reader  I love to read in quiet places. I love to read in dim places its very relaxing. My favorite genres are realistic fiction, Sci-fi, and action and adventure. Some books I read honestly surprise me. When I read I don’t judge the book by the first pages. I try to get deeper in the book to truly see if its good. So that’s a look at me as a reader.

A look at me as a writer  I am not a huge fan of writing on someone else’s topic. I like to write about whereever my mind takes me. Like I write about Batman, then my mind might take to Batman meets Iron Man. Writing is something I don’t do in my free time. If I could I probably would.

This is all about me! My favorite sport is football. My favorite video game is GTA V. Also I love box turtles. My favorite television show is Family Guy. I always get a’s and b’s on my report card. I’ve been to a Cavaliers game. It was awesome and energetic! So this is my report on me!

Year in Review!!!!!  Here is my review on 6 th grade!!!! First I’m going to start with my opinion. I loved 6 th grade!!! It was fun and very exciting! Mrs. Grimm and Mrs. Tedeschi are my favorite teachers! They were fun and great teachers all year!  Now its time for the review. My favorite science experiment is the bottle rockets we made. Also I liked the homemade ice cream we made. In literacy we did writing projects called writing workshop. It was fun because you got to pick your own topic and write it. Like a reporter. In math my favorite lesson was algebra. It was like a puzzle trying to figure out what the letters were in the equations. My favorite subject was social studies! I love learning about history and how the world’s economy works. My favorite lesson was when we learned about economics.
