*A long time ago, God wanted to choose a king for Israel * God sent Samuel the priest to a man named Jesse. One of Jesse’s sons would be the chosen King!

*Samuel the priest saw 7 of Jesse’s sons. *He asked Jesse: ‘Are all the young men here’? *Jesse replied: ‘There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.’

*God wanted the shepherd David to be king so Samuel brought oil and poured it on David. *The spirit of God came upon David.

*The holy oil is called Myroun *The baby is a christian after confirmation *After baptism and confirmation we can receive communion

 What is confirmation? Confirmation is when abouna does the sign of the cross 36 times on the baby with the holy oil called Myroun. The Holy Spirit comes to stay in the baby
