THE FIRST STEP... Why do I want to create a Resume? –I am looking for a new job! –I am looking for a different job! –I want to compile my work experiences! –I just think I should plan ahead! Something that I think I might be interested in become available –I heard about a great new opportunity!

Review Your Resume Check for misspelled words Check for grammar errors Have a friend or two review your resume

Design Use 8 1/2 x 11 inch white or off-white paper Use a non-decorative font no larger that 10 to 14 points Use only one typeface Try not to use italics, script font, and underlined words Don’t fold or staple your resume Mail in large envelope ONLY!
