Lateral elbow 의 long axis scan 입니다. Common extensor 의 hypoechoic area( 화살표 ) 가 있어 tennis elbow 로 진단 되었습니다. 이런 일반적인 scan 에서는 radial collateral ligament 의 손상 여부는 잘 안보입니다. ( LE: lateral epicondyle, RH: radial head )

동일한 환자를 Fringe(arrow head) 을 중심으로 시행한 Lateral elbow long axis scan 입니다. Radial Collteral ligament 의 손상이 보입니다. ( 화살표 )

 At the anterior side of the ECRB origin the attachment of the articular capsule was thinner than that of postero-distal side. The thin attachment of the articular capsule could be a factor causing initiation of the pathology of lateral epicondylitis.  저희 의견으로는 상기 기술이 우리가 tennis elbow prolothraphy 시 intra-articular injection 을 하는 이유중 하나로 간주 될 수도 있을 것으로 생각합니다
