PRINCIPLES OF TECHNOLOGY 1 Final Exam Project!!!!

Your final exam in PT1 is a power point presentation. You will be assigned a scientist to research. You will be asked to collect specific data on the scientist. You will then compile your research into a power point presentation. You will also present your presentation to the class.

Each presentation must include the following information on separate slides: A cover page Information about their childhood Education background Scientific contribution Impact of scientific contribution Conclusion and personal reflection

COVER PAGE This slide would include the name of the scientist and the name of the presenter.

CHILDHOOD This slide would include information about where the scientist was born and the conditions in which they grew up. For example: Were their parents wealthy? What were the conditions within their country, or the world, during their childhood?

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND This slide would include information about their education. Did they attend school? For how many years did they attend school? Were they exceptional students or did they struggle? How common was it for people to attend school at the time?

SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTION This slide would explain what scientific contributions the scientist made during their lifetime. Explain how they were able to make these advancements.

IMPACT OF SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTION This slide would explain the impact their scientific advancements had on the social community as well as the scientific community. Provide examples and evidence of further discovery.

CONCLUSION AND PERSONAL REFLECTION This slide would wrap up the presentation. It should also include your personal opinion and reflection about the scientist.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION YOUR PRESENTATION MUST ALSO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING :  At LEAST 4 photos, one of which must be your scientist.  Correct grammar and punctuation for the situation.  All of the required slides.

:::WARNING::: Presentations not completed by the deadline will be given a ZERO as your final exam grade. NO EXCEPTIONS! Scientists will be assigned on April 22 nd. Presentations will be during the week of May 9 th through the 13 th. NO ONE is exempt from the final exam presentation.
