VACATION CARE PROGRAM June / July Vacation Care 2016 KDK Kids. First ‘ Little Rascals ’ ‘

Useful Information OPEN We are opening between 6am and 6pm on: Tuesday 27 th June – Friday 01 st July 2016 Monday 04 th July – Friday 08 th July 2016 COST Bookings and payments required by Friday 17 th June $42.50 per child per session LATE BOOKINGS – CHARGED AT $46.00 PER CHILD PER SESSION Child Care Benefit subsidy applies – please enquire about rates EXCURSIONS Charges are in addition to care fees and are set at a rate to cover excursion expenses including additional staff. Please complete permission forms and return prior to excursion. If you need to contact us about the excursion, please phone to speak to Tracy or for Karen. BOOKINGS Please complete excursion booking forms and return with full payment to KDK.Kids.First – Burrowes. To assist with the rostering of staff, confirming excursion numbers and catering, please book children in as soon as possible. OUTSIDE ACTIVITES Please provide written permission if your child/children need to leave the program to attend other activities. MEALS Breakfast and afternoon tea is provided. Menus are displayed for your perusal at each centre. Children need to bring morning and lunch. Please ensure you pack enough food for the day. If KDK.Kids.First has to supply morning or afternoon tea to children who do not bring it from home, a charge of $5.00 per snack may be billed to your account. MEDICATION If your child/children are required to take medication while at the centre, you must supply a letter from your doctor and complete “Medication Authorization Form”. Medication must be supplied in the dispensed container labeled with your child’s name, dosage etc. No other medication will be given. PERSONAL BELONGINGS Children can bring games and toys from home; however, KDK.Kids.First takes no responsibility for lost or damaged items. SUN SAFETY If children wish to play in the sun, they must have an approved hat and wear suitable clothing. Sunscreen will be applied as deemed necessary by staff.

An important message to parents/caregivers At KDK we serve BREAKFAST each morning until 7.30am sharp and we provide AFTERNOON TEA each afternoon. Please do not send food for your child’s lunch that needs cooking or reheating e.g. noodles, pizza etc. It is important that you send enough food each day for your child. If we are required to supply snacks for your child $5 will be billed to your account for each time food is supplied, other than breakfast and afternoon tea. Kind regards, KDK Kids First Management

Masks, wrist cuffs and superhero wands are on the program today. Come along dressed as your favourite super hero Pyjama party day Today we will experimenting with paint and making dream catchers along with some popular cartoon character crafts. We also have a range of indoors and outdoors activities and games on offer. Disco Dance Party Incursion $10 Glitter Disco balls, microphones with bling, and musical instruments are on todays program along with the amazing Disco Dance Party Playground and outdoors games are also available Cowboy and Cowgirl Dress up day Come along and participate in our country and western crafts and activities. We have a range of crafts such as boot decorating, cactus, campfire and water colour crafts just to name a few. Playground and outdoors games are also available Go karts and jumping castle Incursion $10 Come along for an action packed day and enjoy the go karts and jumping castle. We will have numerous other activities available.

The children can also choose from free time in the home corner, handball, playground and other outdoors activities. Today is all about the Dream time and nature crafts and activities. The children can also choose from a wide range of indoor and outdoors games and activities An Aboriginal hand print plate, kinship tree and flag collage are some of todays craft activities. The children can also choose from a wide range of indoor and outdoors games and activities Excursion $35 We are off to Australia Zoo A detailed list of requirements will be sent home closer to the date
