LOCAL MANAGEMENT OF THE PROJECT AT YSMU 25/03/2016 WORKING GROUP FOR THE PROJECT Seyran Kocharyan Yervand Sahakyan Narine Mirzoyan Nazineh Khalafyan Parandzem Khachatryan CONTACT PERSON FOR VERITAS Seyran Kocharyan FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Since YSMU Is the Grantholder, the financial department of YSMU is the structure responsible to coordinate all financial activities in the frame of EU Tempus VERITAS project, i.e. trips, equipment, salaries, etc., and is regulated on one hand by RA relevant laws on finances, on the other hand by EU relevant regulations. The bi-annual timesheets and convention forms are sent to the Management team for their review and approval, after which is passed to the relevant financial department.

DEVELOPMENTS WITHIN THE PROJECT RESEARCH UNIT Is PRESENT AND FUNCTIONING as YSMU structural unit Science Department Regulation which includes the tasks and responsibilities of divisions and employees. It regulates relations within the institution and with the outer structures. CURRENT AND UPCOMING ACTIVITIES PhD program and its development, external review PhD students have both educational component (40 credits) and research component (140 credits). Pharmacology The pilot project is now being reformed to be in line with the lessons learnt within the EU Tempus Veritas Project and with EU standards. Within the PhD program there are 8 PhD students.

25/03/2016 STUDY VISIT Computer modelling in each research educational component (Heidelberg Ruprecht-Karls University example) should be introduced. Another learning outcome concerns the challenge-based learning experience which is a learning experience where the learning takes places through the identification, analysis and design of a solution to a socio-technical problem. Based on UDG example we saw the university-industry connection which has high impact on the PhD system. YSMU won a summer school grant project dedicated to the labor market.
