Stage 4: Implementation and Settlement

Implementation and Settlement: Implementation 2 StepsLead Org Activity (LO) Endorsing Org (EO) Activity Ministry Activity Lead Organization Consultants will construct project LO will ensure project remains on schedule and within approved scope and cost No ActionMonitor progress and fund construction based on projected and actual progress within each fiscal year Review requests for change in scope Funding of construction will be managed by the Branch managing the project Each branch will be responsible for managing their portfolio of projects within their annual notional allocation Any change orders that constitute a change to approved scope will require ministry approval and amendments to and re-approval of the Business Case, Cost Estimate and Agreements

Roles: LHINs in Stage 1: Application Support the consistent application of the CHCP policy and Operational Framework Be the first point of contact for Applications from HSPs for capital projects Provide Endorsement for the Application Confirm any own funded/partner funded space can be financially managed by the HSP/partners 6

Roles: LHINs in Stage 3: Design, Tender and Award of Contract Work with ministry to hold projects to scope endorsed and approved at end of Business Case Where scope changes are not avoidable:  Endorsement of revisions to Business Case including: Confirmation that any additional “own funds” financial costs identified in this stage can be managed by the Lead and/or Partner Organizations 8
