Key points 1)Follow google drive link 2)Find your mentor group from tab 3)Indicate which events students are doing with Y next to their names 4)Relays = 1,2, 3, 4 twice (male/female) 5)New relay = 8 x 50m number one team 1-8 Complete by Wednesday 22nd June at 11am.

What Events Can I Choose? 1.All students must try and do at least one event. 2.Some students will want to do more than one. If possible you should do no more than one track, one field and one relay. Only if your mentor group are struggling to fill events can you do more than three. 3.You Should Not take part in BOTH Relays unless there is a shortage in your mentor group! Events Sprint Hurdles, 400m (Boys Only), 300m (Girls Only), 800m, 1500m, 200m, 100m, 8 x 50m Relay (mixed), 4x100 Relay Long Jump, Shot Putt, Javelin, Discus, High Jump and Triple Jump.

1 = should be one boy and girl per event (NOT LIKE THIS) 2 = Events must be selected with a y not an x

3 = In the 4 by 100m relay column each student must be numbered 1-4 (twice for boys & girls). In the 8 by 50m Relay there will be a mixture of boys and girls number 1- 8 (MUST BE A MIX OF BOYS & GIRLS). 4 = Finally please do not put any other code in the boxes. It is Y (track & field) or 1,2,3,4 (4x 100m relay) or 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 (mixed 8 x 50 m relay) 5 = TRY TO HAVE ONE GIRL AND ONE BOY PER EVENT (remember 300m = girls 400m = boys)

If you don’t have an event, there are plenty of other options available, please select, MEDIA TEAM, RESULTS CO – ORDINATOR OR OFFICAL These Students will not be given a house shirt for the day I Haven’t got an event?

Practice your event every Wednesday after enrichment with the PE team. Design banners and posters for your section of the stadium at Kings Park. Help coach younger students or friends for the big day. What else can I do for the day?

What Time Should I Get To Kings Park? 08:30 AM Make sure you check the details on the letter. Your mentors should have given these out to you from your mentor folder.

What Should I Wear? Full TBOWA PE KIT 1.Burgundy Polo, Black Shorts, White Socks, 2.Running Trainers (You are welcome to wear Spikes if you own a pair) And the Black TBOWA Hoodie. 3.Face Painting will be available but a donation will need to be paid to Miss Western or Miss Pelling 4.Fancy Dress is allowed, BUT only if it the same colour as your house and suitable. e.g. Yellow – Austen - Minions

There will be programmes for teachers and large programmes displayed all over the stadium. Find out your event start time and get there 15 minutes before. If you finish your event and come in the top three go to the podium for your certificate. How do I find out when my event is?

If you have school lunches, a lunch hamper will be brought to the event. If you are normally packed lunch, bring lunch as normal. You can bring money for small snacks from the café at the stadium. Note: Plenty of fluid is advisable and small sugary snacks. What am I going to eat?
