Which organisations help them in Hungary?

Híd (Bridge) programs Híd 1: The public programs provide help for students who could not attend high school after finishing primary education Híd 2: 10 month training: For students who reached 15 years of age Gives elementary school certification 20 month training: For students who reached the age of 15 years Gives part-qualification certification

Dobbantó (Springboard) program The Dobbantó (Springboard) Program began in January 2008 This program is for students between the ages of 16 and 25 Focuses on the individual progress of students This showed success in 3 years The Dobbantó program is running in 12 Hungarian schools

Arany János program Education experts developed this program This program is 5 years long In the talent support classes, students can go to workshops in different topics The program also finances a language exam, a driving licence and an ECDL (IT) certification

Belvárosi Tanoda Foundation High- and Vocational School It was founded in 1990 It helps 150 students Provides help for dropped-out students with deviant behaviour between the ages of It gives them psychological and physical knowledge to lead a successful life on their own in their future lives

”OKJ” trainings ”OKJ” trainings offer a chance to dropout students and students who couldn’t attend university to get a profession Students who attend these trainings don’t need to have a school leaving exam, so some of them can attend 59 kinds of trainings (for example: in the fields of IT, animation maker, software developer, child care worker, tourism…)

”OKJ” Training in Debrecen It is totally financed by the government People can get different qualifications such as a sports manager, nurse, social worker, plumber, baker, car mechanic, butcher, dental assistant, etc.

The Danish Production school Developed in Denmark,used all around Europe The first ones in Hungary started in 2004 in Zalaegerszeg, and Pécs The model’s main line: ”Learning in work” Working for factories or local enterpreneurs This model need to be followed easily by any students They need more personal relationship with the teachers Teachers need to give advice

Educational Centre of Debrecen It involves 12 schools It takes part in the HÍD 2 Program They organise exhibitions and programmes to help students

Dropouts in Dóczy Secondary Grammar School It is not typical in our school Parents take those teenagers to another school whose marks are poor to prevent drop-out, but it is a really rare phenomenon
