Marist Schools Week Celebrating Catholic Education in the Tradition of St. Marcellin Champagnat SM

 Mary, under the title, Our Lady Help of Christians is the patron of the missions.

 The title ‘help’ indicates Mary’s role of praying for those in need.  As the mother of Jesus, the source of all grace, Mary is a channel of that grace for us.  Mary intercedes for us with Jesus as she did at Cana.

 St. Marcellin called Mary his Ordinary Resource, indicating that she was the first he turned to when in need.

 Mary, help of Christians, we look to you that we may know your Son, Jesus.

 Help us to walk the way of Jesus, and to live joyfully the life of Jesus within us. Amen.

 St. Marcellin Champagnat: pray for us.  Mary, Our Good Mother: pray for us.  And let us remember to: pray for one another.
