Effective Use and Monitoring of Impact of Pupil Premium Reducing the disadvantage gap

Know your data 1.How well are your FSM cohort doing? 2.How well are your CLA children doing? 3.Are these children making good progress in all areas of the curriculum? 4.Do your FSM or CLA children have additional personal, health, emotional well- being or social development needs?

Issues equals actions 1.Support to access extra-curricular activities 2.Protective behaviours work 3.Additional homework support through the use of a tutor 4.Provision of a laptop for a KS4 student to log in to the school intranet and complete online revision 5.Part funding voluntary opportunities abroad

6.Providing therapeutic story writing 7.One to one tuition in core subjects 8.Accessing gifted and talented workshops at Universities 9.Family support workers, including targeted support to improve attendance 10.Access to GCSE revision programmes 11.Purchasing of revision guides 12.Residential trips and visits

Know the Impact – Be Accountable 1.Ring fence the funding 2.Don’t confuse eligibility for Pupil Premium with low ability 3.Have a clear policy on spending Pupil Premium and publish on school website 4.Demonstrate the impact via data or individual pupil case studies
