MOTIONS PREPARED GENDER and SEXUALITY INTERNATIONAL AND SOVEREIGNITY HUMAN BODY TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT

GENDER and SEXUALITY THBT women can only achieve equality under a secular system of government TH regrets the strong promotion of people declaring their sexual orientation (eg National Coming Out Day) as a strategy by LGBTQ movements. TH Regrets hook-up apps. INFOSLIDE: Hookup apps are smartphone (Android, iPhone, etc.) programs which match people to others seeking casual sex, and put them in contact. The two most popular apps are ‘Tinder’ which sees ten million matches per day, and ‘Grindr’ (which is designed for men meeting men), which has over a four million users, one million using it daily

INTERNATIONAL AND POLITICS THBT the military struggle against ISIS should be conducted solely by Middle East nations This House believes that it is legitimate for states to deny residence or asylum to immigrants who openly contradict their predominant values. This House believes that Western states should not use private military contractors in combat.

HUMAN BODY THW legalize the scale of human organs THW Implement a fat tax This House disapproves of movements that aim to further the acceptation of obesity in society

TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT THW stop sending humans into space THBT developing nations should have the right to give priority to development ahead of the environment This House supports the use of genetically engineered plants in developing countries
