Why Do It? There are many reasons to involve yourself in high school. To make friends To help your resume look better for colleges To reach out to the community To learn more about a topic/activity that you enjoy Research shows that students who are more involved and invested in their high school careers have more fun and are more successful in high school and in the future

YOU can also get involved in activities outside of school Do community service! Not only good for your graduation requirements at Regis, but also good for your soul! Get involved with your church! Youth Groups are always fun as is participating in the services Try out for a sport outside of school. Many students find fun in participating in sports such as Jiu Jitsu, equestrian sports, or gymnastics/dance. Boy Scouts are also a fun way to get involved in an extra-curricular activity

YOU can also get involved in activities outside of school Get a Job! Students who have a job feel as though they have a sense of accomplishment and have extra spending money for themselves! Internships are also a fun way to learn about an occupation. Choosing one that you are thinking about going into in the future might not be a bad idea. Get a Job! Who To Talk To If you want to join a club here at Regis speak to Bryan Timme- his office is located in the HUB. Mr. Fagnant may also have some good ideas for community service sites. Talk to your friends about what they are involved in. Clubs can always use more members! Listen to your teachers- they are usually the moderators for the clubs and also have good ideas of fun things to do outside of school.
