Activities will support the full research to market ecosystem Cross cutting issues are been identified and addressed (like social science and humanities, gender, international cooperation) Complementarity and synergy with JPIs, EIP, AAL, PPPs Programme level approach – leverage other funding sources Ensuring links with other parts of the programme (in particular LEITs and other societal challenges) Characteristics of SC#1 - Health, demographic change and wellbeing

More older persons with cognitive impairment – social and economic burden Deployment of ICT solutions for older persons with cognitive impairment ICT solutions have demonstrable value – but need to be translated into scalable practice across Europe Relevant initiatives: European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing JPI on More Years Better Lives JPI on Neurodegenerative Disease Ambient Assisted Living SC#1 challenge example

Now Preparations for Strategic Programme 2016/18 Starting with "Strategic Intelligence" and "Sense Making" phases During the strategic intelligence phase, links will be strengthened with national foresight activities. JPIs as "natural resources" JPIs to interact on the WP preparation also via MS representatives in Programme Committees Planning ahead: WP 2016/18

"J-AGE 2.0" – motto: T he JPI's role in research on demographic change Implementation of SRA SRAs are being updated with the support of the CSAs including the identification of synergies and complementarities with national programmes and with Horizon Once we have the SRA, this will be taken into consideration for the WP 2016/18 Continuation of the CSA

Flexibility and variabale geometry (success factor!)
