Hello my name is Lauren Satterfield. I am a 6 th grader at United Elementary School. I have 3 crazy brothers and a dog. My oldest brother is 14 and his name is Johnathan, my other brother is 10 years old and his name is Matthew, and the craziest brother is Nathaniel he is 8 years old. You can not forget my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lily. And of course my mom and dad whose names to me are mom and dad.

Journal entries On my honor chapter 1 Fall is Apples not pears

I am going to make a prediction that Joel will refuse to go but tony makes him go to the bluffs anyway. After Tony forces him to go I think Joel will get injured and Tony and him will get stuck in the cliffs. I think eventually they will be found and be fine though. Until Tony finds another way to cause mayhem and destruction. I chose this piece because it was the first entry I made this year and it is a little confusing but it shows how I have progressed this year.

fall is fall is when you are able to celebrate holidays like Thanksgiving. Usually in fall it is cold so you get to wear nice cozy coats. Sometimes at Thanksgiving you could have a feast. Fall rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I chose this piece because it shows how my writing from close to the middle of the year to compare how I have grown with my writing.

Finally I chose this piece because it shows at the end of the year how I have grown so much over the past year.

Look at me as a reader: my name is Lauren Satterfield. I enjoy reading it brings me to my happy place. When I read a book I can relate to most books. I get my reading requirements done early and or on time. I do not usually get missed assignments. I am currently reading the series Fallen by Lauren Kate; I am on the third book out of four books. I also like the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling I am on the fifth out of seven books on that.

Look at me as a writer Do you know most kids dreams are to be a fire man or a pop star? Do you know who the people who really matter in this world? The people who do great things like educating others or sharing knowledge. Maybe the next time someone asks you what you want to be when you grow up maybe you should think about saying I want to be a great children's book writer. There that is who I am as a writer.

Teacher read aloud On My Honor by; Marion Dane Bauer. I like this book so far it is about a boy named Joel and his dare devil friend tony The Tiger Rising by; Kate DiCamillo.I personally liked this book because of Willie May she is funny Mrs. T. is reading The Cay by Theodore Taylor right now it is a good book. I like the Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell. Now Mrs.Tedeschi is reading to us Lawn Boy by Gary Paulsen. I like it because it is very humorous and involves geography and economic terms. Now Mrs.Tedeschi is reading Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. It is very suspenseful.

Year in review My favorite part of 6 th grade was probably well you have a lot of responsibility and you are the head of the elementary. Next year that will not be possible, you will be starting fresh as a 7 th grader. Enjoy the responsibility while it lasts. Oh and I made it through 6 th grade so can you.
