POWER  Ability to control behavior  4 types 1.Position Power  Comes from status within organization  Assign tasks and expect outcomes

POWER 2. Expert Power  Gained by having superior knowledge about work  Employees feel comfortable turning to an expert when they are unsure 3. Identity Power  People identify with others and want to be accepted  Will do whatever they can to gain positive recognition – very influential

POWER 4. Reward Power  Manager controls rewards and punishments  Work schedules, raises, bonuses, penalties
