STAMP

History STAMP is an exam developed by CASLS (Center for Applied Second Language Studies) at the University of Oregon. Avant Solutions. CASLS research. They don’t have a direct relationship with ACTFL but the use the ACTFL benchmarks.

Versions STAMP, STAMP 4S and Placement Classic STAMP (up to 3 skills) STAMP 4S or just STAMP Placement (all 4 skills/domains-shorter version) Other products: STAMP 4Se, NOELLA, CAP

More on STAMP Each skill is assessed and given a score, based on ACTFL levels (novice, intermediate, advance and superior). Then, the scores are averaged and an overall score is given to the students.
