2 Once the file upload process has completed and you pass the MassHousing validations you will be brought to the Loan tab on emasshousing.com. The majority of the loan data from your 1003 file will be imported to the tab pages in emasshousing.com. While working in the tab pages please be aware of the following: You will be required to enter additional data on each tab page. This additional required data are data fields that will never be populated by the 1003 data; this data is unique to MassHousing and our products. You should carefully review all of the data on each tab page. Several of the data fields default to certain values. This means these fields have been pre-populated and you need to be sure the system “default” data is the correct data. You will be required to complete the Loan, Property, Borrower and if applicable* the MI Underwriting tabs. *The MI Underwriting tab will appear only after you select a MIF only product. 3 Step 1. The first action you must take is to select a MassHousing product. As stated on this tab: Please select the Mass Housing product you would like to apply for. A Product must be selected in order to begin the application. Click the down arrow to display all of the products* your Institution offers. *MassAdvantage LOW will be the DEFAULT (selected) product if your Institution offers MassAdvantage products. If you only offer Septic/Lead and Home Improvement, Lead Paint Owner Occ will be the default product. If you only offer MIF products, Portfolio will be the default product. 4 Step 2. Scroll to and select the product you want to apply for (in the example below, MassAdvantage is being selected). Step 3. Once the product is selected, the page will refresh. 5 Step 4. Enter required data AND review pre-populated data. The loan tab has several required data fields that will never be populated from your 1003 file. See the 8 highlighted fields. (Depending on the product selected, there may be less or more required data fields). While on this tab please review all of the data that was pre-populated from your 1003 file. Keep in mind that data changed here will cause a data mismatch between emasshousing.com and your Loan Origination system! To maintain data integrity, select the Cancel button. Make the data corrections on your LOS then resubmit the 1003 file on emasshousing.com. Once all data is entered, click Next (or click on the Property tab) to navigate to the next tab. Make the data corrections on your LOS then resubmit the 1003 file on emasshousing.com. Once all data is entered, click Next (or click on the Property tab) to navigate to the next tab. See the 3 highlighted fields. (Depending on the product selected, there may be less or more required data fields). While on this tab please review all of the data that was pre- populated from your 1003 file. Keep in mind that data changed here will cause a data mismatch between emasshousing.com and your Loan Origination system! To maintain data integrity, select the Cancel button. Make the data corrections on your LOS then resubmit the 1003 file on emasshousing.com. Once all data is entered, click Next (or click on the Borrower tab) to navigate to the next tab. 8 Step 6. Continue to enter required data AND review pre-populated data. The borrower tab has several required data fields that will never be populated from your 1003 file. See the 3 highlighted fields. (Depending on the product selected, there may be more required data fields). While on this tab please review all of the data that was pre-populated from your 1003 file. Keep in mind that data changed here will cause a data mismatch between emasshousing.com and your Loan Origination system! To maintain data integrity, select the Cancel button. Make the data corrections on your LOS then resubmit the 1003 file on emasshousing.com. Once all data is entered, click Save and Submit Reservation. You will be brought to the warranties page, where you should read and accept the warranties. The product compliance rules will run and you will be shown the “results”. 9 Step 7. The submission results will be displayed. If compliance fails, you need to take some action. Choosing Edit or selecting a different product (that you were referred to) will return you to the data tabs. Choosing Delete will delete the application. Choosing Save will assign you a temporary (TMP) reservation number. The reservation will be saved for 7 days. If compliance is passed you will see the reservation accepted message. This reservation is now in your pipeline. To add MI you can do so directly on emasshousing.com OR you can resubmit the 1003 file.
