What Does Glory Mean? The Hebrew word used was “kabod” meaning “heavy in weight.” It was often used to describe uniqueness or splendor.

1 Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given her for a covering

What Does Glory Mean? The Greek word for glory is “doza” meaning strength or wealth. 2 Corinthians 4:6 is a good example

What Does Glory Mean? For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ

What Does Glory Mean? Philippians 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
