My grace is sufficient for you

Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Surely we do not need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you or from you, do we? 2 Corinthians 3:1 We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. 2 Corinthians 10:12 I think that I am not in the least inferior to these super-apostles. 2 Corinthians 11:5 Super-apostles in Corinth?

My grace is sufficient for you I am talking like a madman—I am a better one: with far greater labours, far more imprisonments, with countless floggings, and often near death. Five times I have received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I received a stoning. Three times I was shipwrecked; for a night and a day I was adrift at sea; Paul’s CV Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I. Are they ministers of Christ?

My grace is sufficient for you... on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from bandits, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers and sisters; in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, hungry and thirsty, often without food, cold and naked. And, besides other things, I am under daily pressure because of my anxiety for all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I am not indignant?... Paul’s CV

My grace is sufficient for you... If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. The God and Father of the Lord Jesus (blessed be he for ever!) knows that I do not lie. In Damascus, the governor under King Aretas set a guard on the city of Damascus in order to seize me, but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands. 2 Corinthians 11:22-33 Paul’s CV

My grace is sufficient for you “Corona Muralis” The crown of the wall

My grace is sufficient for you This was because he was telling the good news about Jesus and the resurrection Acts 17:18 They continued proclaiming the good news Acts 14:7 I make it my ambition to proclaim the good news Romans 15:20 We were the first to come all the way to you with the good news of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:14 For this purpose he called you through our proclamation of the good news 2 Thessalonians 2:14

My grace is sufficient for you If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me Luke 9:23 Whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave of all Mark 10:44 So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet John 13:14

My grace is sufficient for you A thorn was given to me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me 2 Corinthians 12:7 Three times I appealed to the Lord about this, that it would leave me... 2 Corinthians 12:8...but he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.’ 2 Corinthians 12:9

My grace is sufficient for you Grace  God gives us what we need  God uses our weakness even more than our strength  God’s grace is shown by the church For when I am weak, then I am strong 2 Corinthians 12:10 We are always being given up to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may be made visible in our mortal flesh 2 Corinthians 4:11

My grace is sufficient for you 1)Values 2)Don’t worry! 3)Love

My grace is sufficient for you The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all 2 Corinthians 13:13
