Gondola Displays Form a continuous display Good for presenting large volumes of merchandise Depleted stock noticeable
Display Racks Used for items such as overcoats, jackets, and dresses Hang merchandise for display purposes Free standing, ceiling mounted, posted to walls Adjustable and portable Arrange merchandise by size, colour, style and/or price

Dump Displays Low cost Requires minimal stock time Receptacles containing clearance goods or low-priced items
Package Displays Merchandise is stacked or arranged usually on the floor as aisle caps, in original packaging. Simple and inexpensive Can be positioned quickly Retailers can put entire inventory on the floor, eliminating storage facilities and repeat merchandise handling

Ledge Displays Uses space that would otherwise be wasted. Used for seasonal displays
Platform displays Bunks used to display heavy or bulky items Place mannequins on top of bunks Attract attention and indicates the merchandise being sold in a particular area of the store.
Closed Interior Displays Showcase or shadow box – Holds expensive items such as jewelery – Usually well lit and locked Souk.jpg
