Current Resources: Interns and Trainees Online CDA coursework (English and Spanish) In-house pre-service teacher trainings (English and Spanish) School bus training Coaching journal Challenge: Limited in-person training for non-English speakers in native language Writing skills of some interns are not strong in reflective essay writing Limited resources for portfolio resources in languages other than English Time and availability to create and deliver training Opportunity: Partner with Child Care Resource and Referral and other training agencies. Create a “crash course” in writing and formatting reflective essays. RESOURCES COURSES/TRAINING availability in languages other than English

Current Resource: (all OCDC staff) Coaching teacher (classroom) Supervisor (classroom) Professional Development Coordinator (classroom) Behind the Wheel Trainer (school bus) Other Trainers (classroom and school bus) Challenge: Always having a support staff who speak the interns’ language Time to coach and train in addition to regular work Teachers comfortable coaching an intern.
