 Kapušiansky castle  extends on a rock protuberance of hill Zámčisko  built in 13th century on a place of an earlier Slavic hill-fort.  in 16th century the Castle was reconstructed and fortified because of the thread of Turkish invasions  castle burned down in 1709





 Šariš castle  one of the biggest castle complexes in Slovakia, stretches over monticule of volcanic origin.  it is situated north-westwards of the town Veľký Šariš  it was permanently settled from the Neolithic to the 4th century AD  built in the 13th century.  the first written mention about the castle dates back to 1245  the castle was situated on Torysa trade road  castle burned down in 1678.





 Ľubovniansky castle  built in 14th century by Polish prince Boleslav  it is situated of the town Stara Ľubovňa  reconstructed castle on a limestone hill  in past castle was used as a military fortress  under castle is skanzen





 Spiš castle  on a dolomite rock 200 m above the surrounding land  one of the most precious cultural monuments in the Spiš region  built in 12th century  its area of m2 it is at the same time one of the largest castles in the Central Europe.  the rock the castle stands on was inhabited already years ago  the Spiš castle has a wonderful location
