Presentation transcript:

 The Master Technology Teacher knows and applies basic strategies and techniques for using graphics and animation.

Knows basic elements of graphic design and how to apply these concepts to communicate effectively and assist students and educators in the creation of products.

 The relation of one part to another or to the whole with respect to magnitude, quantity, or degree

 An aesthetically pleasing integration of elements

 An interesting element of design because it can be applied to any other element, changing it dramatically. It can be used to make an image stand out, and to evoke emotion.

 Variety consists of the differences in objects that add interest to a visual image.

 In design provides the focal point for the piece. It is a way of making the element that is most important stand out in the design

 In visual design means all parts of the visual image relate to and complement each other

 Correspondence in size, shape, and relative position of parts on opposite sides of a dividing line

 the relationship among the elements of a visual that helps all the elements function together. It gives a sense of oneness to a visual image. In other words, the words and the images work together to create meaning.

Demonstrates knowledge of basic concepts related to computer animation.

 A panel or series of panels on which a set of sketches is arranged depicting consecutively the important changes of scene and action in a series of shots

 A schedule of activities or events

 An interesting element of design because it can be applied to any other element, changing it dramatically. It can be used to make an image stand out, and to evoke emotion.

 A great way to add emphasis to particular elements

 Images or effects overlaid on top of one another

 A single step in a sequence of programmed instructions

 a drawing which defines the starting and ending points of any smooth transition

 An animation technique that, based on starting and ending shapes, creates the necessary "in between" frames

Knows techniques for editing, manipulating and changing sounds that have been captured from a variety of sources.

 audio CD  tape  microphone

Uses appropriate digital editing tools and design principles to import and edit images from a variety of sources.

 Encyclopedias  Databases  Image libraries

Knows how to define the design attributes and requirements of products created for a variety of purposes.

 Posters  Stationery  Brochures  Slide shows  Web pages  Multimedia presentations.
