What It Means The word comes from the Old French for “vacancy” and the Latin for “leisure, being free from duty” God instituted times for rest from labor – Ex. 20:8-11, Deut. 24:5 He knew that we need time for recreation and rejuvenation – Eccl. 9:7-10

Things To Keep In Mind One cannot vacate from being a Christian – Luke 9:57-62 As such, if you are a child of God, you have responsibilities that you cannot “get away from” – 1 Pet. 4:8-11

As You Travel Keep praying regularly – Col. 4:2-4 Maintain the right attitude & behavior that is befitting saints – Eph. 5:8-15 Worship the Lord! Do not neglect to give – 2 Cor. 9:6-9
