Presentation transcript:

Rainbow class add the finishing touches.

Bush stucker trial Finn sticks some green felt on plastic moulds. Is that Isaac getting the hump? Isaac makes some signposts but isn’t sure which way to turn.

‘Bean’ there, ‘dune’ that…… Haricot beans made lovely cobbled paths. The boys wanted to turn it into an assault course. No chance of getting ‘board’.

Going Green! Leah and Bryony recycle biscuit packaging and transform it with a touch of green felt.

River runs through it! Using cling film and blue paint mixed with PVA glue, we get a raging torrent that those goats will be brave to cross! It’s all taking shape nicely.

Path ‘a’ logical Why be straight forward when we can meander through the kingdom? Lots of ideas for landscape features.

Cobbled together Joseph and Luke stick every bean down with care. This is taking ages! Good job it’s not a motorway…

Green and Pleasant Florence and Abbie use tissue to create some undulations. As the Billy goats know- the grass is greener on the other side!!

The long and winding road. Everything is taking shape and the children have made some brilliant suggestions for adding texture. Is that the giant’s wife from Jack and the beanstalk muscling in?

My poor lollipop! Not for eating these will be growing around Gingerbread Cottage. The boys have to work out how to make them stand up.

Allsorts of Ideas Liquorice sweets lead up to Gingerbread Cottage- what a tasty trail!! This has everything- tracks, textiles, trees, turf, trails, torrents and is tasty too!

Sweet and Sour ? The boys don’t think the Prince will like landing in this-those thorns look sharp! Gingerbread Cottage gets its pathway decorated, “allsorts” of suggestions

And so it grows Finlay takes extra care to place every thorn just where he wants it. The girls hover around the Gingerbread Cottage garden, like bees round a honey pot.

Flower Power Bryony and Emily make felt flowers to carpet the woodland area.

Can’t see the forest for the trees. Joseph and Luke become woodcutters for the afternoon Couscous poured into bio drink pots gave the trees a stable base.

Alice wishes she had her name sake’s shrinking potion.

Wouldn’t you just love to move in?

Big Billy Goat doesn’t know which way to turn.

Surprises round every corner.

All in the detail…..

Six months after it all began. What will we do on Tuesday afternoons now?

Reason to be cheerful part 6!
