Name Meaning The Shawnee tribe name meant Southerner they got that name from the Iroquois leader. Shawnee Tribe name meant southerner because the Iroquois leader dragged them to many different places in the south.

Clothing Women wore dresses made out of deer skin and how they made it is that they skinned a deer. Men wore skirts made up of deer skin and how they cut it is that they skinned the bottom of the deer foot so they can tie it around there waist
