Presentation transcript:

If you enjoy spending your time working in the backyard garden, then you might have noticed that sometimes, the loppers and hand pruners are not ideal for cutting thicker branches. In case you find yourself in this situation frequently, then you should consider getting a pruning saw. The pole pruning saw constitutes one of the best tools a gardener could have for cutting wood thicker than 1.5 inches or more. Unlike the specialized gardener scissors, the tree pruning saw is often used on thick and long pieces of wood. Cutting requires more strength and control when employing this utensil and, since the process is more tedious, caution is highly advised. In the event that you are having a hard time pruning, then the following tips could make your job easier.

If you have a lot of trees, you can time using a power pole tree pruning saw which usually run on a gasoline mixture or electric. Take the time to read the instructions! Somewhere it will always tell you how to care for the saw. Don’t throw these instructions away with all the other packaging. Keep the instructions in a file and refer to them if you want to maintain your power pruning saw in peak working condition. You may also want to arrange proper storage for your pruning saw in your basement or garage, a couple of large hooks in the wall will prevent the saw from falling over, and spilling oil or gas. Never store metal tools in damp or humid sheds. With proper pruning saw care and cleaning, you should have a trust tool that last many years.

If you have an average suburban garden with just a few trees and shrubs, you‘ll probably only need one good pruning saw and a pair of clippers. If you have a larger property, surrounded by palms, oaks, fruit trees and other types of ornamental shrubs and trees, it won’t be long before you’re looking at different pruning saw types. You will probably need more than one, depending on the thickness of the branches you’re dealing with.

Always purchase good quality tools, with the intention they’re going to last you for life, so buying the best is an investment. With proper care, cleaning and correct handling, good quality tools will give excellent service for many years. For more information on Tree Trimming, visit our website -
