4 Types of Economic Systems These are not the only 4… Traditional Economy- Goods and Services traded without exchanging money. People barter Common Economy- Production of goods and services is determined by a central government which owns the means of production. This is a planned economy

Market Economy- Production of goods and services determined by demand from consumers. Also called capitalism Mixed Economy- A combination of common and market economies provides goods and services so that all people with benefit.
