What is Panic Attacks? Panic attack is a sudden surge of overwhelming anxiety and fear. Panic Attack can lead to panic disorder and other problems. Panic attack may occur as part of another disorder, such as panic disorder, social phobia or depression.

Signs and Symptoms Panic attacks often strike when you’re away from home, but they can happen anywhere and at any time. Following signs and symptoms are: Chest pain or discomfort, Sweating, choking feeling Hot or cold flashes, Feeling dizzy, light-headed Fear of dying, losing control, or going crazy Shortness of breath, Trembling or shaking

What are Causes ? Mitral valve prolapse, a minor cardiac problem that occurs when one of the heart’s valve does not close correctly. Hyperthyroidism ( overactive thyroid gland) Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) Stimulant use (cocaine, caffeine) Medication withdrawal
