Aborigines Native/indigenous people of Australia Until recently, there was no written Aboriginal language, only oral and artistic communications Traditionally live in the Australian “outback”/bush area in Central Australia Often do a “Walkabout” Traditional rite of passage for young Aborigines which serves as a pilgrimage to the sacred/important sites of their family/clan that have influenced their “Dream Time” stories

Aboriginal Art Land Art Rock/Bark Paintings Ancestor Spirits Dream Time Corroborus Music and dance performance to tell a traditional Aboriginal story Uluru large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory in central Australia. It lies south west of the nearest large town, Alice Springs and is one of two major features of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Uluru is sacred to the Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area. There are many ancient paintings near the Uluru.
