WEATHER MAPS

IDEAS What are some examples of weather? Where does weather come from? Where does weather happen? How does weather happen? Is weather always the same?

BRAINSTORM WITH YOUR TABLE. Come up with a definition for weather and write in on your sticky note.

WHAT MAKES ONE DAYS WEATHER DIFFERENT FROM THE NEXT? EXAMPLES:

COME UP WITH A DEFINITION FOR WEATHER! Discovery Video

DIRECTIONS 1.Divide into 6 groups. (table groups) 2.Each group will be assigned a type of weather map. 3. Using your Mac Books, find the answer to each question using the links I gave you. 4.Use the map as a base to draw your type of map for today’s weather. Remember your map must include a key! 5.Prepare a presentation for the class. 6.During the presentation, you will have to answer every question about each type of weather map.
