What can you do to make it safe! Children O Never arrange a face-to-face meeting or upload pictures to the internet O Never give out identifying information such as their name, home address, school name, or telephone number O Never respond to messages or chats that are suggestive, obscene, belligerent, or harassing Parents O Keep the conversation open about their use of social media O Know their passwords – compromise to a certain age O Deal with an incident when it happens O Don’t put your head in the sand
