September 2015 EDGE CHURCH Does Prayer Really Make a Difference?

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Hebrews 5:7

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:13-14

TO RECAP: Do you respond to stories of amazing things happening with faith or excuse them away with logic? Is your prayer life lukewarm? Stories of prayers being answered are powerful. They are very hard to argue against. God doesn’t listen or respond to prayers offered in selfishness or with wrong motives - be reverent, pray heartfelt prayers. We can pray to Jesus. Really get to know Him, be in relationship with Jesus, learn more about Jesus, and then when you pray, you will be praying in Jesus’ name and He will listen and answer.
