Strategy ITUC affiliate ‘sign on’ to organise national campaigns and lobby for ratification Work with affiliates in targeted countries to organise vulnerable workers to lead national campaigns Pressure corporations through dialogue, industrial action, litigation and investment strategies

Targets Affiliates in 16 countries for 2016 – 50 for 2018 Migrant, indigenous and vulnerable workers in domestic work, agriculture, construction and manufacturing in: Qatar, Mauritania, Paraguay, and Uzbekistan

Protocol ratification campaign –History – ILC 2014 – worker drive, broad alliance –Content – addressing important labour protection gaps such as supply chains, recruitment of migrant workers, ensuring inspection, labour law coverage etc… –Global ratification campaign includes ITUC and ILO – close link with domestic and migrant worker movements
