RUSSIA

Where is Russia? Russia straddles both Europe and Asia in the northern hemisphere. It is considered a part of Eastern Europe. Russia can be found in the upper right-hand corner of a map of Eastern Europe. The Ural Mountains run through Russia and separate the European side of the country from the Asian side. Part of Russia, the Kaliningrad Oblast, is separated from the main part of the country in the west. South of Russia: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the People's Republic of China, Mongolia, and North Korea

Pinch the edges together, and using a fork press down all along the edge of the cheburek

Fry or deep-fry the pocket in vegetable oil, flipping as necessary, until golden brown. If you’re having trouble with not cooking the meat through, place the finished Chebureki in a pot and bake in the oven on 250-300 F for about 20 minutes or until fully cooked through (this really shouldn’t be necessary). This is russia’s church

The religion of Russia Many different religions have adherents in Russia. The preamble to the 1997 law regulating religious organizations names Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism as important in Russian history. Orthodox Christianity (Russian: Православие Pravoslavije) is Russia's traditional and largest religion, deemed a part of Russia's "historical heritage" in a law passed in 1997.[2] Russian Orthodoxy is the dominant religion in Russia. About 95% of the registered Orthodox parishes belong to the Russian Orthodox Church while there are a number of smaller Orthodox Churches.[3] However, the vast majority of Orthodox believers do not attend church on a regular basis.[4]

How do Russian people look?

Cossack, Russian, Ukrainian, Gypsy costumes photos

Traditional Russian clothing Traditional Russian clothing was designed to empathize Russian woman's inner dignity and emotional restraint. Russian costumes are not only beautiful, there are also convenient in wearing because they were created for work without restricting freedom of movement. Festive clothes and everyday clothes, married woman's and young girl's clothes differed only for details, decoration, color gamut. The variety of colors for traditional costume displays love for beauty and ethnic diversity. Red fabric cloth was considered to be the nattiest one, and, by the way, the Russian word "beautiful" comes from the word "krasny", the Russian for "red".
