Why Do We Need Water Restrictions?  We need to save water because we do not have enough water for the future.  Because of population growth, lower than normal snow and rain totals, our water shortage is only getting worse.  Water Conservations Engineer Eric Jones says, “As our population increases our supply is not increasing so we have to make sure everyone and everything gets enough water with the supply we have”.  This is why we have to restrict water.  We need to save water because we do not have enough water for the future.  Because of population growth, lower than normal snow and rain totals, our water shortage is only getting worse.  Water Conservations Engineer Eric Jones says, “As our population increases our supply is not increasing so we have to make sure everyone and everything gets enough water with the supply we have”.  This is why we have to restrict water.
