This is an old picture of the Strip.
The Strip was a place that could take hard use. There were old warehouses, factories, and different alleyways throughout the Strip.
Additionally, there was a public bath in the Strip and a shantytown where the unemployed set up small shacks. The Strip District is located along the Allegheny River, which made transportation easier.
