PA CareerLink ® of the Lehigh Valley has joined the effort to create and establish new registered apprenticeship programs, via our Job’s Driven National Emergency Grant within the HealthCare, Advanced Manufacturing, and Energy industries The Long Term Unemployed Career Navigator role is to help all interested employers create apprenticeship programs by supplying the desired talent, advisement of state/federal scholastic guidelines/requirements needed for the program, and assistance in registering the program with the state of Pennsylvania.
Need: EMT/Paramedic Workers in Lehigh Valley Identify Desired Talent Advise on State/Federal/Scholastic Guidelines Program Requirements Assistance with Registering Apprenticeship with the State of Pennsylvania
Paramedic Registered Apprenticeship Overview Potential candidates participate in the Pre- Apprenticeship activities Once accepted, apprentice enrolls in EMT course with LCCC education provider to obtain EMT credential while working full time as an Paramedic Apprentice Apprentice works within EMT role for three years to prepare for Paramedic course with LCCC provider Upon completion of the Paramedic course, Apprentice is provided with the National Paramedic Industry Credential. This Apprenticeship program can also allow apprentices to continue their education via direct placement in LCCC’s ADN Program
